Perpétuel Gallery is delighted to introduce the Limited Edition 02SERIES in collaboration with Studio Underd0g. This exciting second edition is the transcending of timelessness with a modern twist, thanks to the reverse application of luminescence. Only 50 pieces in each of the 4 different colourways will be available.

Three of the four watches have dials coated with seven layers of Super-LumiNova. Where each layer of the custom-made luminescent pigment is built up, creating a silhouette for the numerals that result in a mesmerizing effect. Whereas for the final watch in this quartet, it was decided to flip the whole concept and opted for an all-black base dial, with luminous hour markers and numerals. The light refractions create the appearance of a black polish finish. Mounted on top of the base dial, is a 1mm sapphire disc, atop which the branding, minute track and Eastern Arabic numerals are printed. Once these two dials are affixed to one another via two slotted headed pins, it creates a chunky dial with real depth.

In daylight, the printing details appear to float, casting a shadow on the lower base dial. As the watch moves around in relation to the light source, the shadows move accordingly. This results in a dynamic and ever-changing appearance. In darkness, the printing details are backlit by the bright Super- LumiNova base dial and appear to be totally disconnected from any surface.

Each dial colour has a very diverse effect: the Pink Lem0nade dial features a pink-to-yellow luminous gradient and the Steffany Blue has a stunning sky-blue dial. The Full Mo0n brings a clear nude dial and lastly the Midnight dial comes in a black polished finish. All with strikingly different colour effects, yet equally bold in design and innovation. This new limited edition is a blend of uniqueness and creativeness, making it worthy of recognition in a new era of watchmaking.
